On the 100s-11iby, the bios menu is accessed by pressing the novo button (rather than the power button) on a powered down device. on the initial menu called novo menu, there is a line item 'boot menu'.. My main goal is to get something of low price and installing linux over it (not to dual boot), only needing something very primitive as i plan to use my desktop whenever i am at home. upon a little bit of browsing, the lenovo ideapad 100s seemed to tick a lot of these boxes.. I've been using my lenovo ideapad 100 for a while now. but today when i went to use it. it was stuck in a boot loop. unable to boot the computer using lenovo ideapad 100 keep pressing the boot menu option key to enter the boot menu and change the boot option to cddvd rom. 4.. Press f12 to enter the boot menu and select the usb. or press f1 to enter the bios and change your boot sequence to automatically select usb if present. there is an article relating the "idea pads 100" that had problems to access the bios, i will include the link o help you out..
