DISASSEMBLING PROCEDURE 
How to remove Battery
To begin disassembling the iPhone 4S, remove the two pentalobe screws on either side of the dock port connector with the iPhone 5-Point Pentalobe screwdriver.
Grip the back cover of the iPhone and push upward about 1/8th of an inch to remove the back cover from the iPhone 4S.

There is a cover over the battery connector. To disconnect the cover, locate and remove the one Phillips screw (#00) that secures it in place. When the screw is removed, use the spudger to gently pry up the connection releasing it from the motherboard.
Be careful not to lose the clip secured by the Phillips screw, it will be needed for reinstallation.
To remove the battery, use the plastic opening tool and the pull-tab to pry the battery out of its location. It is secured by a small amount of adhesive.
How to remove Speaker Assembly
Use the spudger to gently pry the connection for the dock port out of its socket. To begin removing the motherboard from the phone, locate and remove the two Phillips screws (#00) that secure the dock port connector cover.
Peel back the dock port connector ribbon wire. This will reveal one of the two Phillips screws (#00) that are securing the speaker assembly into the phone. Remove both of the Phillips screws with the appropriate screwdriver.

Now, use the spudger to pry the plug for the antenna up to disconnect it.
With the two screws removed and the antenna unplugged, the speaker assembly can now be lifted from the iPhone 4S.
How to remove Rear-Facing Camera
Five Phillips screws (#00) hold a metal cover for the iPhone’s cables and grounding clip. Locate and remove the five screws with the appropriate screwdriver.
When the screws are out, remove the cover from the iPhone 4S.
With the spudger, gently pry up the rear-facing
camera connection to unplug it from its socket and
then remove it from the iPhone 4S.

How to remove SIM Card
Use the SIM card ejection tool tool/paper clip to remove the SIM card from the iPhone. There are now five connections and single antenna plug that need to be disconnected. Using the spudger gently pry the five connections up from their sockets, and then gently pry the antenna plug from its socket.
Two standoffs and three Phillips screws (#00) hold the motherboard into the iPhone 4S case. Use the small flathead screwdriver to remove the standoffs and the small Phillips for the three screws. With all the connections withdrawn and the securing screws removed, remove the motherboard from the iPhone 4S
How to remove Dock Port Connector
The connection for the home button is secured in a locking socket. Release the locking tab for this socket and remove the ribbon cable.
Locate and remove the two Phillips screws (#00) that secure the dock port assembly with the appropriate screwdriver.
With all the connections and screws removed, use the spudger to pry and remove the dock port assembly from the iPhone case.
The headphone jack has an antenna adhered to the top of it. Use the flat end of the spudger to pry this antenna away from the headphone jack.
How to remove Front-Facing Camera
A metal clip secures the front-facing camera. Use the spudger to pry at one side of this clip and release the camera from the assembly.
There is a single Phillips screw (#00) that is securing the antenna into the case of the iPhone.
Remove the screw with the appropriate screwdriver.
Remove the front-facing camera from the iPhone 4S.
You can now remove the antenna from the iPhone 4S.

How to remove Display Assembly
There are ten Phillips screws (#00) that secure the display assembly to the iPhone 4S’s case. Locate and remove these screws.
With the screws removed, use the plastic opening tool to pry the display assembly away from the metal case of the iPhone 4S. Now, separate the display assembly and metal case from each other. Remove the display assembly from the iPhone 4S.
